Which Acopa model will best fit my foot?
Our shoes are designed to comfortably cradle an ample range of foot dimensions within each size, particularly width. Additionally, keep in mind that width is not the only factor affecting fit. The camber and aggressiveness in the last design can make a wide shoe feel tight.
The Aztec is the narrowest of our current lasts. However, it is also the most "relaxed" design, which often makes it comfortable even for climbers with medium-wide feet.
Next is the Spectre, which is a hair wider but also a little more aggressive. The JB & Legend are also in this width range.
Finally, the Merlin is a bit wider than our other lasts, but it is also quite aggressive.
Because we know every foot is different, sometimes it helps to know a bit more about the kind of climbing you do and the kinds of shoes you've worn in the past that seemed to fit best in order to make a better recommendation.
Can I try on your shoes?

Are your 2020 models sized like the classic models?
Yes. Our new models correspond in size with the classic versions. However, some models have been updated to include lining. Although the difference is hardly noticeable, it does mean your new shoes will take a little longer to stretch than the unlined version.
Can I exchange the shoes I received for a different model or size?
Yes, provided you bought your shoes from our website and return them within 30 days. Please:
- Keep the shoes in new and unused condition. Keep the original package.
- Contact us by email or phone and let us know what model and size shoes you will be returning, the date you purchased them from us and what model and size you'd like in exchange.
- Ship the shoes in their original package to Acopa Outdoors Inc., 9625 Miission Gorge Rd., Ste. B-2366, Santee CA 92071, using a traceable shipping service, and let us know you've shipped them.
- Once we receive your shoes, we will ship the shoes you requested in exchange within 30 days, or offer you a full refund.
- If you've requested a model the price of which is higher or lower than the amount you originally paid (all discounts included), we will either invoice you for the difference or credit your account with that amount.
Will Acopa shoes be in stores?
We expect to be in a few select California mountain shops very soon. Due to the disruptions caused by COVID-19, this schedule is being revised. We will update this response periodically.
Can I order split-sizes?
Since we don't keep them in stock, it might take us a few weeks to have them made and delivered.
We'd start by asking you to order and try a regular pair first, just to nail down your sizes before we have your split-size pair made.
If you require split sizes, please place an order for a regular pair in the closest size you think will fit at least one of your feet. Once you know what your sizes are, please call us and we'll be happy to exchange that pair for your split-size.
Will you bring back other classic Acopa models?
By year's end, we will introduce new and updated versions of the Enzo and Chameleon. We will also introduce updated versions of the B3 and Aurora shortly after that.
Will you offer larger and smaller sizes?
We are working on offering a wider variety of sizes and expect to be able to offer the full range of adult sizes, from 5 to 15 US, by the end of 2020. We currently offer sizes from 6 to 13, US.
Does the new line include Acopa RS™ rubber?
All Acopa 2020 models feature our legendary, super-sticky, ultra-sensitive Acopa RS rubber in both soles and rands.
Where will you be shipping from?
What does your warranty cover?
Our warranty covers defects in materials or craftsmanship for up to one year from the date of purchase, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, prolonged exposure to heat, exposure to chemical agents, alterations or abuse.
If you encounter a defect and would like to make this warranty effective, please immediately discontinue use of the product in question and contact us.
What is your shipping policy?
"You will be responsible for selecting a carrier and paying for your own shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are purchasing an item(s) worth over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Once your items are picked up by your selected carrier, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your item."
